Revival 92 is a transformation of an old house that was no longer functional for the owner. One of the main goals of the project was to conserve two of the old house’s interior spaces exactly as they were, as they have a rather sentimental value for the owner, this house being the place where her and her siblings grew together. The old house no longer responds to the contemporary needs so the proposal was to partially demolish the house in the first step so that we obtain more space in the courtyard and then extend it both horizontal and vertical so that we get more space and in the same time conserve the interior space that has sentimental value for the owner. The result is a minimalistic contemporary design with all the spaces you need in a rather small dwelling dimensioned just right for the owner’s needs. Aesthetically the house follows a minimalistic aspect with the clear color-coded delimitation of the old and the new.
