BEDROOM M

Bedroom M is a little girl’s Bedroom in Aiud, Romania. The concept follows the idea of a nurturing nest with a minimalist approach that creates a cozy atmosphere and at the same time leaves enough space for play and fun. The incorporated dressing cabinet creates depositing spaces for toys and clothes leaving the room with an open space. The chromatic is based on nuances of pink powder with tones of grey creating a nurturing and pure environment. The whole design is made to last as this kind of aesthetic is adequate for later use as the child grows, only the accessories make it feel more baby like. With a very small effort by just removing some of the accessories, the bed can transform in a teenager bed, the changing table can be used as a TV console, the suspended nest is a baby swing, a space for the mother to hold the baby , or a rocking chair for the future teenager and the incorporated dressing cabinet is modular so it can easily adapt to any kind of situation.
