VISTA

VISTA is a housing project located in Transylvania, Romania. The challenge in this project is to adapt the proposed building and exterior landscape design to the steep hill and take maximum advantage of the beautiful panorama overlooking the city . The proposed building is a single family dwelling. Big windows are proposed towards the panoramic view of the city so that all the members of the family can enjoy the beautiful scenery from almost every room. Two terraces are proposed for the dwelling, one covered on the ground floor with access from the living, dining and kitchen and one open on the first story with acces from all the bedrooms. The proposed building is arranged in such way so that it takes maximum advantage of the spectacular panorama and at the same time creates intimacy for the members of the family to enjoy quality time together. The landscape design includes a fire pit , terraces and pathways towards the main focal points of the site.
